Community Health talk – Persistent Pain Management

Guest Speaker - Mick Dobson, Occupational Therapist -Persistent Pain Service Program at Albury Wodonga Health.

Community Health Talk: Understanding and Managing Persistent Pain
Join us for a free education session designed to help you better understand persistent (chronic) pain—how it differs from acute pain, the factors that contribute to ongoing pain, and what current research tells us about how to reduce and manage it.
This session will explore practical, evidence-based strategies that can help people take control of their pain and improve their quality of life, even if they’ve been living with pain for many years. You'll learn that pain is changeable, and that self-management is both possible and effective.
We’ll also provide information about the Wodonga Persistent Pain Program, including how to access support and referral pathways. There will be time for questions and answers, as well as resources on where to find trusted information about living with and managing pain.
All are welcome—whether you live with pain yourself, support someone who does, or just want to learn more.
