Our childcare tree is changing with the arrival of spring. Childcare community project!

The children helped to make the ‘blossom’ that will decorate the tree in the coming week.

To make the blossom we have used different shades of pink and white paint, the children have painted their hands and made handprints on brown paper that was then sprinkled with glitter. The handprints will be cut out and attached to the tree along with some cotton wool for a fluffy, blossom look.

All children had the opportunity to participate and provided time for discussions on the changes in the season from winter to spring and the things that happen in our environment.
