Lavington Swim Centre opening delayed to October 4

 A Temporary Setback on the Road to Summer Fun

In an unfortunate turn of events, the highly anticipated opening of the Lavington Swim Centre season will be postponed by two days, opening October 4. This unexpected delay is due to a pump valve failure that occurred during the pool’s preparation for the summer season.

Our dedicated team of professionals had been diligently preparing the pool for a season of fun in the sun. However, as we were finalizing preparations, the unexpected pump valve failure occurred, causing a temporary setback.

Our Commitment

Rest assured; our team have resolved the issue promptly. The delay is to allow the pool to now be at the correct temperature and regulatory water quality for our patrons to enjoy once we reopen on Wednesday October 4.

We would like to offer free entry to Albury Swim Centre to any guests with a Lavington postcode throughout Monday October 2 and Tuesday October 3 so you can still enjoy your swim with the warm weather ahead.

The good news is we will be extending our 2023/2024 season end date to compensate for the two-day delay of opening.
