It has been an exciting time in the health club space over the past few months, and are so appreciative that our amazing members have been on the roller coaster ride with us!
The changes in the health club space began with the introduction of Nightlife, our new music on demand system in the gym. Our members have embraced the change, now choosing what songs are playing and keeping our trainers guessing which song is next!
You will have seen that we have rearranged some of the treadmills to ensure all are displaying television, and they are now running smoothly. The good news is that our brand new treadmills are making their way soon (as requested by our members in our recent gym refurbishment survey). We hope the upgrade of equipment will excite you and can’t wait to see you all running marathons on them soon!
It was fantastic to see so many members enjoying our Health Club challenge last month! The Max plank was held by Katrina with 6min and 31 seconds, which was an incredible effort. Our September challenge has started, with the Max Bar Hang! We hope to see you all working on your grip strength and getting involved. Feel free to ask one of the instructors to time you when you’re in the gym next.
For those who have made it into the cycle studio, our new Precor bikes have arrived! You asked for the upgrade, and we listened. We hope you are embracing the new upgraded bikes and thank you to all who have provided feedback thus far. Majority is extremely positive, suggesting they “run like a dream!”. If you haven’t made it into one of our cycle classes recently, we encourage you to give it a go!
