Following the temporary suspension of the Wodonga Sports & Leisure Centre Swim School Program earlier this year, we are excited to see classes across all program levels returning to the water from Monday 13th July 2020.
Existing Swim School Families have been sent an email (on 1st July) with all of the information needed to support a safe return to swimming right away. Anyone who believes they should have received this information and has not is encouraged to contact our team on (02) 6058 2555.
With swimming and water safety an essential life skill, our team have been busily working with relevant industry experts and government bodies throughout our closure to support a safe return to swimming for all students as quickly as possible.
“After months of hard work it is exciting to be in a safe position to welcome back our many valued swim school families and students. Our instructors have missed working with their students each week and can’t wait to be back in the water having fun and helping to support their swimming development very soon.” said Head of Swim School, Mandy Sawyer.
“With Summer set to be here before we know it, now is the perfect time to consider enrolling your child in lessons if you haven’t already to ensure they are summer-ready and safe to enjoy the many great pools and waterways our region has to offer.” Said Mrs Sawyer.
Enrollments are now being taken across all program levels, with any new families interested in enrolling encouraged to contact the centre on (02) 6058 2555.
To support the safety of our community, customers and staff, several safety measures have been implemented across the centre including:
